Hi to all.

I would really be grateful for some help with my VB6
app. I'm tearing my hair out here!

Basically, I have an
application that calls the GetPixel API every ten seconds on a timer
control.

When I first start the application, it returns the
colour of the pixel immediately. After doing it about 30-40 times, the time
it takes to return the information reduces considerably. After 100 times
I'm waiting 6 seconds. After 200 times I'm waiting 11 seconds.

But, if I shut down the application, and run it again, it returns the
pixel colour immediately. Of course, the more it is done the slower it
gets.

I've tried using DoEvents, but it doesn't really help.

Anyone have any ideas?
Statistics : Posted by st0rm0r • on Wed Mar 10, 2010 2:39 am • Replies 0 • Views 74
